Margaret Powell Dunford, 87, died in her Shingle Springs home on Sept 7.
Mrs. Dunford was born on Feb 12, 1912 in Blackwell, Okla., and resided in Shingle Springs for the past 20 years.
Her hobbies included lapidary study (precious stones), gold panning, reading and cooking.
She is survived by her husband, Earl “Jerry” Dunford, sons Joseph, Charles and Richard Dunford, sisters Virginia Adams, and Elizabeth Vowel, for grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial mass will be at 9:30 a m , tomorrow, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in El Dorado Hills. Interment will be at Green Valley Cemetery in Cameron Park. Arrangements were made by Green Valley Mortuary. |
